Our Single Malt & Cigar Bar adds to the hotel's appeal as a conference and team-building venue, but is also a great place to relax after fine cuisine.

“Cigar” (named after the famous American thoroughbred racehorse) is our premium brand hotel whiskey lounge. As the name suggests this is also our smoking lounge designed to allow our guests a place to relax with a good whiskey and a cigar (if they choose) and be at peace with the world as night falls over the Natal Midland Meander and the nearby Drakensberg Mountains.

We currently have around 30 different single malts along with a few blended whiskies from  Scotland, Ireland, Japan and India.
